重庆惠科金渝光电科技有限公司成立于2015年4月，总注册资金60亿元；由惠科电子（深圳）有限公司、重庆市渝富资产经营管理集团有限公司、重庆巴南经济园区建设实业有限公司共同出资建设。

惠科金渝液晶面板第8.5+代生产线项目是国内第一个由混合所有制企业主导建设的液晶面板生产线项目，也是巴南区工业史上单笔投资金额最大的工业项目,总投资额240亿元人民币，为重庆市政府的重大工程，公司位于重庆市巴南区界石数码产业园B区,占地约1100亩，总建筑面积74万平米，项目分两期建成。其中一期投资120亿，占地600亩，建筑面积约45万平方米，采用a-Si(非晶硅，即A硅)技术，月产7万片玻璃基板（尺寸2250x2600mm），量产后年产值约达110亿元人民币。

HKC LCD panel 8.5 + generation production line project is the first domestic mixed ownership enterprises led by the construction of the LCD panel production line project, but also the industrial history of Banan District, the largest single investment amount of industrial projects, with a total investment of 24 billion yuan, for the Chongqing Municipal Government's major projects, the company is located in Banan District, Chongqing, Jieshi Digital Industrial Park B, covers an area of about 1,100 acres, with a total floor area of 740,000 square meters, the project is divided into two. 740,000 square meters, the project is completed in two phases. The first phase of the investment of 12 billion, covers an area of 600 acres, building area of about 450,000 square meters, using a-Si (amorphous silicon, that is, A silicon) technology, monthly output of 70,000 pieces of glass substrate (size 2,250x2,600mm), mass production after the annual output value of about 11 billion yuan.
